Trekking Borneo
This tour will take you from sea level to the highest point in South East Asia – Mount Kinabalu, at 4,101m. You can either trek through an area with one of the richest flora in the world, along river valleys, through rich lowland rainforest, villages, paddy fields, pineapple and rubber plantations or to reach the trail for the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
Mount Kinabalu is known for wonderful myths and legends and the mountain has, for most of history, been a sacred spot. Kinabalu Park, a World Heritage Site, is famous largely for the climb to the top of the peak but the beauty of the route along the way is as amazing as the view from the top.
